[dog days of summer camp]

[if you're in the main section of camp, you may notice one (1) unfamiliar stray wandering close to the cabins, looking somewhat lost. or just confused, really.]

. . . hey, boy. Where'd you come from?

That's pretty common. I dunno if it's just because the viruses have a short attention span or what.

A week seems decent. But there are many that only last a day.

And at least you're adorable. That's a plus. You coulda turned into and aardvark or something.

Or some kind of bug.

It seems camp truly wishes for our cabin to have its fill of animals, George.

Yeah, but at least this won't be permanent. Besides, it should amuse the kittens. Or scare the shit outta them. Or both?

Most of the kittens have found other homes. I am not yet sure how Suzaku's pet will react to this. She might be able to recognize him as well.

Really? But, they were kinda cute. And, for your sake, I hope she does. Otherwise, you might wind up wearing her as a hat.

The cabin has enough of them. I'd rather avoid that conclusion. She's quite vicious.

I'd offer to take another one or two off your hands, but I dunno if Ginger and Pepper would like having another cat around. And, she is, huh? Suzaku has an attack cat?

Arthur will inevitably find his way back. Like most of his kind, he is set in his ways and stubborn. He found his way here after all. She has a penchant for biting anyone who comes in contact with her.

Arthur's the one with the spot around his eye, right?

. . . oookay. Maybe you guys should get a squirt gun and, I dunno, spray her when she does that. I've heard it works? It would at least be a stress relief.

Ah. The one who insists on spending as much of his time around me as possible. When he's not biting Suzaku.

She is still very young. The stress might be significant on her. I have no intentions of managing a traumatized cat.

You know, I'm starting to think that cats just don't like you guys. Or at least not both of you at the same time. Maybe we could try mine, see what they think.

Then, good luck? She might settle down a little once she goes through kitty puberty, at least if another cat doesn't knock her up. Then, you'd have an entire litter of biting kittens to deal with.

It is a rather odd situation, I must say.

She is not going to be allowed outside the cabin. The last thing we need are fleas. Aside from that, I intend to train her.
