Been awhile since I said something general. Why the hell not?
Hey, kids, welcome to camp. I'm Greed, and technically, I'm your career counselor here. You can probably guess what kinds of reactions I get when I introduce myself that way. "Who needs a career counselor? We're trapped here!"
Logical, but shortsighted. If you're reading this, you've obviously managed to survive here at least a few weeks, which means you've heard the warnings. Here's what no one bothers to mention: nothing is forever. Not even camp. Some of you may have been trapped here for a year and a half, but you're kids; a year and a half feels like an eternity now, but you'll bounce back. You'll get out. And when you do--what are your plans? What are you aiming for? How are you going to achieve it?
If you want to talk about it, I want to hear it. I'm as stuck here as you are, but I do have a job to do. More importantly? At the moment, I have nothing better to do. And you never know what you'll learn if you poke around a little.
