Went to see Hitchhiker's Guide last night. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. Everyone go see the movie, but more importantly, go read the book. The book is...there are no words. It's like scrumtrellessant + spectlomeflorishious + shpiffeh. OH MAN ( Read more... )

I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT!! I think I'm going to have a celebratory watching after finals.

BTW: I had a really random thought today. My sis's b-day is in June and for her b-day we are renting a big projection screen and profcctor to watch movies on from out pool. SO it occurs to me that we can watch Josh on this big screen from the pool. SO I thought a little more and thought if I could plan it right, would like to invite you over?. But then again its a couple of days away and stuff. So if you want just let me know.

It would probably be the weekend of June the 3rd (a Friday) so probably that Saturday night.

I read the first book in 3 hours and was glad to be finished. =) SO I don't think I'll go see the film.

As was I. The whole hitchhiking-through-outer-space-in-a-bathrobe thing just kills me. Not to mention Zaphod Beeblebrox in general. And Slartibartfast. I wish MY name was Slartibartfast.

I haven't seen it yet but as I loved the book/radio show/tv show (yay! it's being repeated on Tuesday!!!) then I guess I'll love the film. What did you think of Martin Freeman (Arthur)? He was Tim in The Office.

Yes, you definitely should. And Martin was GREAT. Very Arthur. And I knew he looked familiar...I love that show. Lol. They're doing an American version of it now and it's sorta...weird. XD
