Not strictly BoB-related, but a beautiful Canadian-made video about Canadians in WW2 - and why they fought. It deserves a hell of a lot more views, and its maker (who isn't me - I'm not this talented) deserves a hell of a lot more praise. I saw it, I thought of all the Canadians on this comm... I just had to post it! I'm just mesmerized by it - there's something about the image, especially, about the young men saturated in oil being pulled from the sea.

It made me cry too, bb, and I'm one of those nutcase Texans you here about (minus the guns). I'm glad you got to see it, though - I was planning to IM you by the end of today to make sure.

btw - Found a Canadian Ordinance Division patch online; been meaning to ask if you'd be interested. I figure I owe you a bunch of hugs, so maybe a patch collects into that.

Isn't it, though? I wish to heck I could make vids even half this good! (And did you see the quick clip of the paratroopers? It's amazing how quickly they jumped out of those planes!)
