Alright, I have 2 questions.

Jul 10, 2011 20:52

I have posted this on aldbournewhores but thought I'd ask if it was okay to do so here/see if anyone was interested.

I saw there was a 'resources' and a 'caps' tag here and I've seen icons posted so I thought I might as well ask. I have screencapped the entire series in Blu-Ray, HD quality. They are 1280x720 in dimension and PNG files (so they're big downloads. Read more... )

resources, caps, transcripts

Both of those things would be very much welcome here! I know I find resources like that invaluable.

For the caps - one post would be tidiest, but if you'd prefer to post episode by episode, that's fine too. Maybe pace the posts out a bit, 'cause ten posts is quite a bit.

As for the transcripts; well, there's no 'official Camp Toccoa transcript project' or anything, just things individuals have done here and there. If the mood to transcribe a few episodes takes your fancy, again, you're welcome to post links here.

the thing called 'the transcript project' is just my thing and i do intend on finishing it one day except i'm stuck halfway through carentan and i hate blithe and then i have to deal with replacements and i hate webster and baaaaawwww maybe i should just skip ahead to the ones i like and come back to the other ones later.

...actually, that's not such a bad idea.

i just need to find HQ avi downloads again since i lost everything when i had to reinstall my OS three times at the start of the year. SADFACE. also sands two months when i am overseas.

HMM.

BUT CARENTAN IS FULL OF HARRY AND LUZ

No, I can sympathise. I'm (very very slowly) transcribing the Pacific and it's all gravy so far, but I am dreading everything from ep7 onwards.

Anyway, you take it at your own pace! And if anybody else wants to do their own take on transcribing, I'm of the opinion that the more, the merrier.

I'm waiting for a ten-hour series about Stalingrad. THEN I'll transcribe like anything! :D
