Argh argh argh I'm up to my ears in revision and slowly choking on the wretched stuff, but I PROMISE I will be back to read this as soon as my exams are over! Very, VERY excited!

I can promise part two should be up on Sunday after I've taken the wrecking ball to it and all the parts are done. So I promise you, no rush!

Ah, even better than I was hoping for! Loved the metaphor of the mirror running through it, and some absolutely perfect Liebgott characterisation...

What I love most about your prose is how it's narrative, and plot-driven, but still beautiful. So well-paced, with added elegance and sadness thrown in.

Especially liked the flashback to Haguenau, really liked the contrast between grudging admiration and residual bitterness.

Basically, A LOT OF LOVE and I am just on my way to read the next two parts!

This is great! I really like how you have the now contrasted with the then. And Christenson, yay!

He sadly will be leaving the story until part four! The hot hot CA golden-boy that he is.

Thank you for reading!

Tre magnific! This is truly original in the fact that you are doing an after-the-war type of plot for this pairing. I really thought it was interesting and the underlying motivations of the characters here is intriguing to watch unfold. I can't wait to see where you will take this story and if nothing else I am glad to see it has a planned conclusion. :)

Thank you so much for reading and I'm really glad it's working so far as I wanted to dabble in this and I'm glad other people are enjoying what I loved writing so much.

OOh i've finally gotten around to reading this and it was worth the wait!

And maybe, just maybe, Joe felt a little bitter that no one had ever felt that way about him.

Awh, Joe!! I loved this little sentence

in the meantime, Joe had Christenson’s incredulous glare to stand up to.

“This is what you wanted, isn’t it?” Liebgott challenged. “You wanted me here and now I’ll take care of him.”

Ooh, i can totally see Liebgott's angry little look here! This was a great little chapter and i'm off to read the next one!!
