Supernatural + Space = Awesome.

I love how the reason he could see the future was so scientific, and somehow made sense in a backwards way. Like if the same thing had happened to anyone else it would be perfectly normal.

His angst with his mother, and his troubles with his ability were characterized wonderfully. His mom was cold, a woman who saw to much of her husband in her son already and found this to be the last straw.

The resolution with Spock was great. Spock coming to terms with his differences and encouraging Jim to do the same fit so well with their relationship.
