(WHEN DID LIVEJOURNAL CHANGE?! HAVE I BEEN GONE THAT LONG?!)

Just fyi, I'm a dumbass who started writing a novel. Like, actually this time. I'm at 45 000 words and it's all complete crap but my God am I enjoying myself.

And I'm on such a roll, I actually think I'll see it through to the end this time.

(Grad school? What grad school?)

Thanks! It's actually kind of exciting, as I've never finished a novel that I've started before . . . or even come as close as I am now.

That said, the novel is pretty awful. It's nothing special or remarkable at all. I am enjoying writing it though, and that's what is important I think!

Honestly, it's a young adult novel about vampires featuring a female protagonist torn between two male interests, one of whom is a vampire of course, because I'm something of a one trick pony. And if you are thinking that sounds too much like Twilight, you'll be pleased to know that the main character carries a stake, has sex before marriage, and doesn't fall in love with either of them.
