Hi y'all! *waves* How are all my new friends doing? I know most of you guys reside in the States, so you're most probably comfortable in bed right now. Anywho, hope you guys have a great Tuesday ( Read more... )

Woohoo, the first person to comment on your journal! (as long as no one comments while I am typing this)

Welcome to LJ.

While America sleeps, its only 5pm in Australia...

Wow, I didn't realize you guys were 3+ hours ahead of me. O.o So if it's 9.30pm now, that means it's already past 12 in Australia, meaning that you're probably already asle... Oh. OH, okay, shutting up now.

It does kind of suck that when I am online in the evening, most of America is asleep.

I have a few friends from other parts of the world now, which helps. And I can LJ a bit throughout the day (breakfast, on the train, lunchtime, during work if I sneak it in).

No need to do that re "okay, shutting up now." :) Enjoy your comments.

I know what you mean; I used to be really active on LJ and was part of so many communities but every time the mods decided to host some instantaneous community event (games, live discussion posts, etc), I would miss out on all the fun. It ain't great to be online when most of your friends are sleeping in their beds either. Argh, darn you time zones!

I think it's pretty awesome being behind time wise; sure there's no real advantage, but don't you get the feeling you can take your time doing things or at least appreciate time itself more, knowing that you sorta have a few bonus hours compared to people in other parts of the world? It's almost like you're just chilling whilst others are rushing into the next day. Haha, I know I'm not making any sense and I probably just feel this way 'cause every time I fly to the west I gain time. Argh, do excuse the rambling.

You have GOT to start photoshopping again! Seriously! :D What do you usually make?

Layouts! And textures! That's pretty impressive. :) I don't dare to make textures, and I've tried coding my own layouts but that's just as far as I've gotten. Tried. I am absolutely horrid with codes. Maybe one day I'll sit down and really study a CSS tutorial.

If you ever decide to try your hand at PS again, do share the shinies! I love to see other people's handiwork.

Hi Katy! *waves like an idiot* I live in this little place called Malaysia, just above Singapore actually. And ZOMG, Starbucks. I feel like a Green Tea Frappuccino right now. What's your poison? XD

Ooh, gingerbread latte? Call me crazy but I've never heard of it before. I'm in no way new to Starbucks, so maybe they don't serve that drink in my country. Or I'm a huge blur case and never saw it on the menu, which is equally probable, mind you. Sounds interesting though. I've tried gingerbread once before so I reckon the latte tastes really sweet?

Confession! The only other drink I've tasted at Starbucks is the Java Chip Frappuccino. That is in fact the very first drink I ever purchased from Starbucks. Funny, I don't quite enjoy it like I used to anymore.

All this talk about thedeliciouscoffeethatisStarbucks is making me hungry! I feel like a frap right now but unfortunately for me, there isn't a Starbucks around here within walking distance from where I stay. Maybe that's a good thing though; like you, my affinity to coffee is so strong I would be broke with a capital B if I lived next door to one.

Argh, it frustrates me that I can't remember the last time I set foot in Starbucks. Oh Green Tea, it's been TOO long, my love. *sob*

:) Hi Kelsey!

I didn't watch the movie in the end that night; when I found out that one 3D ticket was about 4 times the cost of a normal ticket I decided against it. I've never felt comfortable wearing those flimsy 3D glasses anyway. ;) I remember watching Monsters vs Aliens with those glasses on and had to hold them up for the entire movie 'cause I felt like they were just gonna fall off my face. Couldn't fully enjoy the movie because of that. But yes, will definitely try to get tickets for the 2D version. All my friends that have seen the film tell me it's good too.

Haha, Starbucks. YUM. Just this afternoon carbonatedchaos and I were craving for some Starbucks coffee. My favorite is Green Tea Frappuccino. ♥
