Cameron was making his way back to the dorms after he saw Veronica off. It seemed like the weekend really had been too short, but he had a good time with Veronica and graduation wasn't all that far off. Right around the knees, in the form of a tiny child wrapping herself there.

"Daddy! I thought I was lost cause I couldn't find you or Mommy and where are we and how did we get here cause I don't 'member."

"Pancakes!" Marybeth decided. "And bacon. Will you cook for me?"

"I could, but I'm not sure I have enough food around to make any," he said. He wasn't sure if one should be allowed to find out they have a kid and cook. It might be dangerous.

"I might know somewhere where we can get some food, though," he said. "That okay?"

"Sure, Daddy!" Marybeth said. "And can we call Mommy? Why isn't she here?"

"She uh... had to go... work," he said. "How old are you?"

"Five!" Marybeth said, holding up her hand. "Let's go eat. Can I have coffee?"

Cameron groaned. "No, milk is healthier," he said and carried her off to go find something to eat.
