The sprawling was fine with Veronica; it meant she was warm. And when she woke up, she was rather surprised to find Cameron still sleeping. She cuddled closer and closed her eyes.

Veronica grinned and rested her hand on his hip. "See what happens when you don't wake me up before the sun?"

Laughing, he leaned forward and kissed her forehead. "So this was all just a campaign to get me to let you sleep in?"

"Nah, I was bored," she teased.

"I'd say I was sorry, but I'd be lying," he slipping his arm around her.

Veronica laughed. "I like waking up with you."

He rested his forehead against hers and smiled. "I definitely like waking up with you."

"When do you graduate again?" she asked. "I'm very much looking forward to the month or so we have before you start the Academy."

"May something," he frowned, not quite remembering. Maybe it would help if he tried kissing her neck.

"Fifth?"

"Mmmmmmm," she hummed, moving her head out of his way. "That's soon."

"Not soon enough," he whispered, grazing her earlobe with his teeth.

"Never quite enough," she agreed softly, closing her eyes.

"We could just diss prom and stay here," he suggested, stroking his fingers up her spine.

"Uh uh," she said, squirming a little. "I bought a dress and I'm wearing it."

"I'm not objecting," he smirked and brushed his lips over her cheek.

Veronica chuckled. "Don't you want to show off your hot, older girlfriend?"
