I love this with a fairly epic love, I have to say.

Thank you for the lovely gift, Anonymous. I'll admit I put this prompt in there on a whim, because this was a winter challenge, without much thought to what anyone might do with it.

I loved how atmospheric this was--I really felt the cold and saw the castle crowned with ice. I love the way you've shown this deep-running river of affection between them, the clueless dorks.

I actually played around with lots of unintentional magic storylines this winter, and I really loved the way you did it here.

I often think it's hard to make these characters sound young, because they have so many centuries of legend piled on them. You've managed it beautifully here, and it works ever-so-well with their lack of perception.

This really cute, for some reason, I love Arthur throwing his ring at Merlin then commanding him to retrieve it for him.

This was lovely, I liked all the little details and Merlin's nervousness and confusion.

I also loved Arthur throwing his ring, and all other such little details that brought the scenes to life. Merlin and Arthur's caring for each other was nicely done - I liked how the characters leave some things unsaid and others plain, and how Merlin's POV affects this piece. Accidental!weather's very fun. :)

I love that Merlin still hasn't realized the full extent of his powers and how he is so dedicated to Arthur and protecting him in any way that he can perform such awesome magic unconsciously.
