Merlin to the rescue once again! His hero complex fits this scenario so well and I remember being somewhat shocked that Merlin really did do as Finna said and went to the roof. Even though he would have been found out, I did expect he would figure something out to save Finna.

Leaving her to Morgana was totally out of character and why wouldn't she search the tower to see if Finna left a clue to Emrys? Plot holes so big Kilgarrah could fly through them!

I wish Merlin had taken his own destiny into his hands in the series. Poor warlock listened to a lot of bad advice.
