I liked how Arthur reacted when he found out and how he let Excalibur go. Loved that Gwaine was protecting Merlin from Arthur. Good job with this.

It's going to be quite a blow, I think, when Arthur realises that Merlin made up the story about the sword in the stone. Arthur has based all his renewed confidence on having been the rightful owner of the sword, and then it's all a lie.

I didn't realize I was holding my breath. I loved this and not to sound redundant but I agree with the above comments. My favourite parts were when Gwaine came to Merlin's side and when Arthur let Excalibur go. And the last line beautiful.
