I liked how Morgana wanted Arthur to escape. There must have been love underneath all that hate. Plus yeah, Arthur really needs to talk to Merlin.

Oh, this was so sad. Poor Arthur. But it was Morgana that made me tear up. Her betrayal of Arthur in canon is something I have never really understood, so any redemption of her in fan fic, no matter how little, is a good thing.

That last line!!!!

And Morgana almost broke my heart, til the escape scene. The inner-conflict-version of Morgana makes sense to me more than the S3-straight-out-evil Morgana ever will, and you did it beautifully :)

Reads well! Amazed at Morgana's actions but not at Merlin's. :)

Arthur being aware of both Morgana's compassion and Merlin's magic is fantastic. He's not as blind as people choose to believe.
