The immediate tension of that first line grabbed me and the world building and action never let me go. Hunith may have been hiding in her basement, but she isn't hiding from the fight. Balinor's lucky to have her on the team. Casting Kilgarrah as the reptilian answer to this crisis was quite wonderful.

Nice to see there can still be such things as loyalty and attraction in the apocalypse. Fun to read!

OMFG!!!!! THIS IS AMAZING!!! I CAN’T EVEN!!! WOW!!

The characterisations are perfect. The interaction between Hunith and Balinor was fantastic; I love the world building how you worked in Uther and I just about DIED when Kilgharrah turned out to be the third person who was immune to the virus…GENIUS. I absolutely adored the banter between…well everyone. You could feel the friendship between the three men, as well as the sibling love Gauis and Hunith share. The way they all interacted was just how I imaged. So on-point!

I seriously cannot deal with how perfect this was. It played out like a mini movie in my head I was completely gutted when I came to the end. I honestly hope you do decide to delve back into this AU world you’ve created because I would be EXTREMELY STOKED to read more…just please don’t make it tragic and kill Balinor lol

Thanks for this awesome gift, I thoroughly enjoyed reading and look forward to re-reading it many times over. ♥

Loved the world building. All the things that were left unsaid but implied was wonderful at filling in the empty places. Loved the interaction between Balinor and Hunith. Great job.
