It's wonderful that Uther had that talk with Arthur because it gave him the courage to put all his cards on the table. Now these two are on the same page and it seems they're ready and willing to move their relationship forward. It's been an emotional, angsty journey so far, no now maybe they'll get to be happy again.

I enjoyed writing this so much; it was time to get them.together, and I wanted Arthur to be the catalyst, even when it seems that Merlin is the one making more of an effort.

I wrote a third Drabble, but didn't have time to post it, but I'm posting it at AO3 this afternoon when I post these two.

I liked how Uther finally figured it out that Merlin was good for Arthur. Well done.

Thanks. Even in canon, Uther loved his son above almost everything else, so I had to give him his moment in this series.
