Thanks for reading. When I saw this week's prompt, I knew immediately what I'd write, but it was extremely difficult to do so. Poor Arthur :-(

Oh, poor, shattered Arthur. I'm just glad Merlin was able to be there for him.

I didn't at all like writing this; I hate to see Arthur so bereft. Merlin, it seems, is meant to be sad, but not Arthur--I want him happy and ready to take on the world.

Oh wow. Poor Arthur! I can definitely empathize with that. Good thing he has Merlin!

As much as I didn't like Arthur being so sad, I loved having Merlin be the strong one. I love reading, and writing fics with a somewhat sad, maudlin Merlin, so it was a nice change to reverse their roles.

That was so sad. I loved that Arthur could break down around Merlin. He's really what Arthur needs. Well done.

Thanks. Arthur is not meant to be so sad.; I really disliked making him as shattered as he was, but it was really nice to write him needing Merlin as he did.

There are fics you write that you'll never forget and this is definitely one of those. Every word of this was so weighted with meaning. My love of Arfhur keeps growing.
