Loved how sad this was. I really enjoyed the way Merlin finally had to walk away. Also loved how Morgana told him the truth. Would love to see a followup.

Oh dear... Uther's a master manipulator, subtle and cruel. I am sad he won and Merlin had to leave all that he cared about behind. But I hope he'll be happy somewhere new.

That was heart breaking but very well written. Uther set the stage but Arthur was a willing actor. Merlin was way more than a walk on that got his heart broken. both pendragon men should be ashamed but I hope the one with a heart gets his own heart broken in turn.
