I'm actually glad that Merlin's not just rolling over and welcoming him with open arms. Arthur really hurt him. He should have to work for forgiveness.

I just caught up with this series and I while I enjoyed the set up, I really like the fact that they appear to still be in different places, that Merlin didn't melt. Although I don't think he is going to let Arthur go, either. This could be fun. I'll be looking out for the next bit.
