it's heart breaking that Merlin got caught in a loop of misery in this hospital. They couldn't help so he sunk deeper into depression until they couldn't release him on his own recognizance. He's a mess, but now that Arthur's back maybe his mental and physical health improve. If the hospital even lets him go!
