Thank you! Once in a while I get a really dark idea for Merlin, because, hey, there's a lot of pain and suffering in this show. Or at least the potential for it.

Lovely, poetic prose, all those little observations and impressions to make the whole place and the characters come truly alive. Poor, poor Merlin, this is all so full of emotions, sadness and longing, and you describe his hunger for the drug and for momentary oblivion so well.

Poor Merlin, it's so sad that now Arthur's back he just can't deal with it. Lovely piece, though heartbreaking.
