Of course Uther would find this situation ridiculous. To him the slaves are nothing but objects to be used. Arthur has always seen his toys as human beings.

Athur's scheme is sound but I wonder what Merlin is going to say when he rides into Ealdor. He may think Arthur's there to kidnap him again!
