Had the idea when we watched all of season one in a day or so. In every ep, Merlin goes to the dragon and the dragon tells him about his destiny and that Arthur is his destiny and...screw heterosexuality, fulfill destiny!!! And the idea was born. Didn't get to write it until now.

So...it's all the dragon's fault! *looks all innocent*

It's fun. We've watched 2 seasons in 3 days or something like that. And when you watch the eps back to back, you realise the repetitions of stuff much quicker.

Pure gold, this drabble is pure gold. Kilgharrah, you amusing evil genius, you are amazing. I haven't even considered this approach, that he might have made up all this destiny stuff to subliminally push Merlin and Arthur together as revenge on Uther.

I cracked up so much as I read Kilgharrah's thoughts, picturing him with an evil smirk on his face when he hears Uther making plans to marry off his son. THe things he knows...

I do think that he almost does believe the lies he tells Merlin in the end and that he's a great Merlin/Arthur shipper ^_^
