I could see Merlin being all awkward and grabby and I like that Arthur was too flustered to help much.

Thanks! I've only been to an ice rink once, and that was last year, but I remember seeing this one couple acting like a mess because the guy kept slipping and hanging on to her! It was nice inspiration
