Morgana sat, watching from her window as the castle residents went about their business. It had been four days since her world had been irrevocably changed. Four days since Arthur had literally vanished into thin air right there in front of her.   Four days since she had been appointed as the rightful heir to Camelot's throne.

It was nice to have Morgana's POV on this, albeit a slightly angsty one. And I see you've stopped apologizing for the word count thing. Lost cause? :D

PS: The author's tag is missing! Just thought I'd point out.

Thanks - corrected!
After last week's verbal splurge I just left this one as in comparison it wasn't very far over. But yeah, lost cause with this series, there's too much plot to go in. I'd like to get it finished and go back to little ficlets again.

It's excellent to get Morgana's POV and find her supporting Arthur and Merlin and trusting that her spoiled half brother will do his best to protect her. She knows Arthur is an honorable man and now that he's accepted magic being at his side is much safer than Camelot.

I hope she and Gwen make their escape, possibly with Lancelot along as protector. I also hope that this is a big spanner in Agravaine's plans. I don't see how he can gain the throne without her.

Thanks for reading and commenting :) Morgana is definitely going to be better off with Arthur, but getting away when she's so essential to Agravaine might be harder than she thinks.

I am in love with this series. So much so. It's so great and wonderful and ahhh. I like how we got to see Morgana's point of view this time--it was a great change and it added a great perspective to the story. Plus, I love Gwen and Morgana's dynamic--they're so loyal to each other and you can tell how great of friends they are.

And is that a special someone I see at the end of the story, there? :)

Thanks, glad you're enjoying it :) It's got to that difficult stage in the middle where the first lot of action is over and I need to do bridging pieces to the rest of it, which is proving a bit difficult.

Yes, that's definitely a special someone at the end there :) Gwen thinks so, anyway!
