Arthur's longing and self sacrifice is heart achingly lovely. They both know Arthur's duty to Camelot comes first. I love Arthur's nobility here: And because I cannot offer him everything, I ask for nothing. Lovely piece.

It is sort of sad that in this 'verse, they can't be together... But yes, I liked that this Arthur refused to give in if he couldn't offer more than second best to Merlin.
