Yeah, update time. ...Ha. :S

I wish I had a place to leave short status updates where I knew everyone would see them. I've been through several false starts with the next chapter, and didn't solve my problems until last night (Friday evening for me). And now I'm going away for the weekend, so there won't be any post until Monday or Tuesday, but at least it looks like it will be a decent length.
