Damn. You have taken angst to a new level and made it an art form. Arthur's grief has such a terrible beauty to it. And of course, his closest knights are there to try and heal the damage, but Arthur won't let them because he thinks he deserves the pain he feels.

Wow. Can't wait to read the promised next chapter!

So gorgeous. Loved the angst. Feels so very real. Loved Gwaine and what he said about him being Arthur's man!

I wish I had could do twice as much with the knights. Elyan especially just eludes me. Gwaine is bold and likes his spotlight, though, so I make the most of him. :)

Yay new chapter! Loove the angst. Arthur's outburst was really intense, loved Percival stepping in front of Gwaine and loved the little detail about Arthur touching Merlin and the fearful expression (he thought) Merlin had in response. Poor Merlin being cold though. Gwaine's right, now matter how many layers you dress in, standing still, you'll get cold anyway (as proven by my daily wait for the bus :p)

Percival and Gwaine developed a really cool relationship over seasons 4 and 5. I like to think that when they are not doing pranks or picking on each other, Percival is actually quite protective of Gwaine, because he recognises that Gwaine has a vulnerable heart behind his bravado.

You live in a cold country? Me too! It's been bitterly cold here in Norway so far this winter, but it looks like it's finally letting up. I am so glad.

I'm a little worried that I go overboard with the cold/warm scheme in this story, but it's kind of a theme for the verse, so I'm not going to stop. :P
