I liked how Arthur panicked about hitting Merlin and it wasnt his fault at all.

I saw him do that in one of the training sequences on the show. not hit Merlin but he was holding the ring for the lance. maybe series 1 or 2.

Why do I get the feeling Merlin didn't eat delibrately? Why does he want to die? :( *goes to warn Arthur and Gaius*
