Oooh, nice! It's interesting to see Mordred caring so much about Merlin's secret being kept, going so far as to lie to Arthur.

I admit, you have me stumped on the title. What is The Circle? Is it the relationship between Merlin, Arthur, and Mordred? Perhaps, the way they have all been devoted to protecting one another at some point?

Uh huh. I did that part on purpose. He's a shady little devil.

So, the prompt was "devotion" and I was thinking that each character here was devoted to someone different. It is a circle of devotion, if that makes sense. Mordred is devoted to Merlin who is devoted to Arthur who is devoted to Gwen who is devoted to Lancelot .. uh, not sure. I think I didn't do the math quite right:)
