I thought everyone would go for Uther's scars, but apparently that's not a popular theme either. *shrug* It's awesome, the variety of fics we are getting from this prompt.

Yeah, apparently Edwin was on the show so long ago we don't remember him that much. But recently I showed Merlin to my mom (because the hungarian tv bought it, yay, but the dubbing is not always very good:) and she wanted to watch it so we started from the beginning. Probably that's why it's still fresh in my mind.

Ooh, I love this! I always thought of Edwin as kind of sympathetic villain, so you really highlighted the side of humanity to him.

Thank you for the lovely comment. I think Edwin must have been a sweet boy who turned bitter and vengeful. After what he had to suffer through somehow I can understand that.

I can totally understand it myself. While I might not agree with his actions, I would probably feel the same way towards Uther if I was in his shoes.

I would too and I was sad when he died. I liked to think that there was still a chance for him.

As for Uther, I hated him but now that he's dead I kinda miss him as a character. I just loved to hate him, if that makes sense.

I agree, he had every right to hate Uther for what he did. Unfortunately he only got one episode. He was a great character though. Thanks for reading and commenting.
