You really captured how difficult but necessary it is to step back and let your children make their own decisions even if you think they're going to get hurt. It's all about allowing them to grow and learn.

As hard as it is for a loving parent to see their child throw themselves into danger, Lancelot made the right decision for his son. I like how Morgana wants to be more proactive but yields to wisdom in the end. Nicely done! (Though this 'verse of yours fair rips my heart out now and then!)
