LOLOL

A fitting punishment, even if Merlin had to listen to the numbnuts griping.

The opening paragraphs are so lovely and lyrical and just... filled with the magic that lurks everywhere in Merlin's world. And I would be aghast too at having to deal with Sigan's feathers. Although it served him right thy were made into a duster. And it served Arthur right that he couldn't sit for a week.

Did you choose the title as a nod to Emily Dickinson? Very apt.

Thanks. I did want to show that Merlin's world was very different in perception from Arthur's - although turning Sigan's cloak into a feather duster was pure ridiculousness on my part.

I didn't deliberately choose the title as a nod to Dickinson but with Merlin's bird name and a feather duster, I thought it might work. Plus it kind of reminded me of something - which was likely Dickinson's work. Minds work in mysterious ways.

Thanks!
