Summary: Arthur has his arm around Mordred’s shoulder. Gwaine has his lips by Merlin’s ear. Merlin has his eyes on Arthur’s face...surely, though, someone's going to to come out of this smiling?

That was lovely! It was a really fantastic incorporation of those missed scenes from the episode too. Wonderful fic! I really enjoyed it :)

It really bugged me, how you didn't see anyone go back to get Merlin in the episode, but I'm sticking with the idea that something along these lines happened...basically I just wrote down my headcanon XD

It bugged me too so I'm so happy you filled in the gaps :D Seriously, I was like, "but...but, Merlin!" This was perfect ^-^

Ugh, I know! It was one of the only things that got me about that episode...Merlin's important. I was annoyed most at Gwaine, I think, for Merlin not being the first thing on his mind at that point XD That's why I thought it ought to be him who actually does the rescuing :')

Yep, this. All the pieces are there and they all fit the way they should. I am really starting to ship Gwaine/Percival so thank you for that lil touch at the end!

I liked the way you fixed some of the problems with the episode. Gwaine would never have left Merlin behind. I feel badly for Gwaine, though, to know that Merlin's first thoughts are of Arthur, not Gwaine. Well done.

Thank you! I agree--it was so out of character the way Gwaine didn't even seem to think of Merlin straightaway :(

And yes I do too, a bit :s But that's why I gave him Percy :')
