This is chilling and heartbreaking; beautifully set up.

I might never watch Merlin again. *shivers*

Ily ty! I'm glad you like this fill for your prompt! Thanks for providing such fetching descriptors. :D

I can't decide if Emrys' torture is a price I'm not willing to pay to rewatch the show more. Where does that place me on the scale of good to evil?

This was extraordinary. Such a simple seemingly modern AU set-up growing exponentially darker by the paragraph until the readers were left to squirm with unease, vowing to never watch the angstiest Merlin episodes again! Good idea, well written.

Thank you thank you! I hope you didn't unbreakable vow yourself against watching again; not sure about you, but I'd have trouble resisting forever.

And, might I say, your comment has great build and drama to it. You would write excellent book jacket summaries, if that's not already something you do.

Oh, I loved that idea, that Emrys was trapped in Merlin, and reliving the bleakness over and over again. Great job.

Thank you!

I love the hint of existential crisis dread your comment evokes. :) Sort of how Gwaine must feel going back to the Perilous Lands.
