Sweet and surprising! I'm glad Merlin could show Arthur he was right. Did he know there was magic in the world but didn't know he had magic? :) In any case, this is very fun!

I think he just wanted to believe that there is magic and stubbornly insisted on it just to contradict Arthur. He got more than he bargained for :D
