It's kind of cool that you don't like Uther here, because I thought he was being extraordinary rational and patient, not to mention that Aredian is right in everything he says, so backing him is the smart thing to do. Their only mistake is to suppose Merlin to be a threat.

I liked how Arthur was so sure Merlin was innocent but Aredian's plan is devious and likely to work, too. Well done.

Arthur's in for a shock, that's for sure. Poor baby. I'm dying to see how it will play out in canon.

Another gorgeous installment. Nice dialogue, very in-character and eloquent. And the action is great - nice twists on the original plot. Completely plausible and very enticing. Can't wait to read more.
