Is there a different sign-up form for artists?

Hi,

No, to sign up writer's and artist's would just have to comment on tomorrow post. We'll add participant as they comment.

The writers and artists have diffrent posting headers, which we just edited and posted.

Hope that answer your question, thank you for asking :)

If something needs to be added to the artist's header, please let us know..

It may be just me... but can someone please explain to me the purpose/reason for having sign-ups in this kind of community?
Secondly, what if you miss the sign-up period or a previous prompt gives some you inspiration after it's been done and dusted? Are you still allowed to post a piece for that prompt?

Because is a weekly prompt community we are trying to have everything as much organize as we can. Hence the sign up for each prompt. Example if you don't like this weeks prompt you don't have to sign up for it. But you love next one, then you sign up.

Each prompt will be open from Friday 10 am to Saturday 10 am. Regarding your questions, which is a good one thanks, for the moment is no, Once is closed no more sign ups for that prompt. But is something we can look into in the future when we been on for a while.

I hope that answer your questions. Don't hesistate to contact us again. :D

Okay, I can understand you wanting everything to be organised.
I know my muse doesn't work that fast half the time. Ah well, we'll see if something grabs me at some point.

Hey,

We did it to keep everything organize as much as we can. Hence the sign up for each prompt. While we know other drabbles communities don't have sign ups we wanted this one to be diffrent.

If itss something that later on the community wants, we would make a poll regarding the sign ups and opening old prompts. We still in the early stage of the community and beyond excited how things are looking so who knows what will happen.

Hope that answered your questions.

Drabble's are awesome but sometimes there are stories so good that leaves you wanting more, you know. Hense why we set the limit at 1000 words.

We are rebels against the _100 drabble comm :)

Thanks for getting involve and asking questions, this is your comm as ours :)

When we post up our fics, do we post them onto the community or can we have links to our livejournal pages instead? Thank you ^_^

Hi,

The stories/art are posted at the community. After the master list is posted, Thrusdays, than you can post everywhere.

While the complaints against the sign-up system are old, I’d like to counter them with a bit of praise anyway. I love the weekly sign-ups, because they give me the push I need to finish each drabble. I have the very typical fanfic writer’s problem of not being very productive, so while I have hundreds of ideas, few of them are ever finished. If there were no sign-ups, I might easily let the days slip past until the deadline was upon me, and then simply think “oh well, no one will know that I even contemplated participating”, but once I’ve asked to be signed up, and my name is on a list, I will sit down and write something because I know that my contribution is expected to appear. It doesn’t matter whether I write 100 words of gold or 1000 words of nonsense; I will have written something, and that’s all that matters. So thank you for choosing to have weekly sign-ups. It makes all the difference to me. :)

Wow, Thank you so much! You made my day with this comments. I'm honestly happy that the community is a comfortable place to be where writers and artists can participate and is drama free :) Kinda like our small, happy, family :)

Yay!

This community is completely drama free, unless you consider my intention to break the 1000-word-limit rule again this week worth some drama. *big innocent puppy eyes*
