Oh my Goodness. I am sitting here with the biggest grin on my face, alafaye! Thank you, thank you, thank you! This is absolutely perfect and just what I had in mind with my prompt (who doesn't like some delicious smut with these two gorgeous boys?).

I know the prompt was a bit corny, but most of Christmas is corny. So I revel in that. You managed to take such a small prompt and make it into so much more. I loved the combining of the domesticity of putting up the tree together with fantastic, enthusiastic sex.

This fic had so much lovely and funny moments I adore it. Here are some of my fav parts:

Merlin shuddered. "The first time you pick it out of cat's butt is the last time you ever use it."

Why do I get the impression that this might be something you actually experienced? Haha.

Merlin huffed and lifted his head. "Seriously? Under the Christmas tree? Are we really going to defile such a time honoured tradition?"

Hee, apologies for the rather vague prompt. I just wanted to give you, as the writer, more freedom with regards to what you wrote and didn't want to overwhelm you with plot points when we're a drabble community and had a word limit. Next year, I will try and give a little more detail. :)

It did totally work though.

PS. So sorry you had to experience that, I haven't as I don't have cats. But dogs are equally gross. :-p (also I LOVE your DW LJ icon)

Nah it was actually very specific and easy to work with. I've never had a prompt so direct before. I usually get the assignments that are "oh, anything is fine; here's a few sentences of what I like".
