Aww, poor Merlin! So sad for him!

I sort of feel bad for putting him through this, actually. But I wanted to write something within the show's actual timeline instead of my usual AUs.

Even if it's sad, I hope it was still something worth the read!

I didn't think I would actually make anyone feel sad or even pity Merlin, given my horrible writing skills. So, thank you!

I suppose, my goal to hit at least one person's feels was achieved!

This prompt has brought out sadness in a lot of the stories! Merlin is such a lovable charming character...he seems like he could belong anywhere, but really he belongs nowhere except at Arthur's side.

I know! It's wonderful how this prompt brought in a load of sad entries, but I also loved how people found a way to incorporate some happiness into most of them.

Yes, Merlin truly is lovable and charming. And while he could fit in anywhere, Arthur's side always did seem like the best place.

They are, after all, two sides of the same coin.

Thanks for reading! And sorry for the length-y reply.... ^^;;
