Oh, this is so great!! So many fantastic details. I especially love hunith and will. They leant a feel of reality and emotion and levity to it.

Thank you so much!!! I am glad you enjoyed Will (cause oh see. He lives) and hunith. I was wondering how wise it was to include side characters in a drabble but then I really wanted the Virgin sacrifice pun :P

Wow, this is so beautiful. This is the story I would have liked to have written. I love the runes and the sacred union, and the meaning of 'gift'. Two of my favorite moments were when Hunith took the bowl of paint to paint Merlin herself, and when Arthur first saw Merlin. Oh, yeah, and the comic interlude with Will was fun!

I have a feeling i am gonna play around with runes often now cause I just stumbled upon them and i was like YES. PERF. DRUIDS WOULD DEFINITELY USE RUNES.

And also glad Will's entry isn't off-putting. The whole fic was so... intense... I didn't know if the lightheartedness would work.
