Fics from the reel_merlin challenge can ONLY be entered into either the reel_merlin, AU, or crossover categories.

Can I ask why this is? Not that I think anything of mine would be nominated, but I cannot be the only one who is writing a reel_merlin fic that doesn't count as an AU or a crossover.

I just can't see any sense to the rule is all, hence the asking. ;p

When do nominations close? 5 April is not a date that exists, according to my Widget, or whatever those things are called (I totally did this for Round Merlin--I invented dates left and right), and I want to make sure not to miss the MAFA boat.
