Arthur’s mouth covered Merlin’s breathing him in, it was then that he heard the tiny whisper in the night of Dada, accompanied by a small giggle that floated in his mind like a feather. “How is this possible Merlin,” Arthur asked not wanting to let go of Merlin or move his hand.
“When you came into me and made yours you brought forth the core of my magic and it mingled with our love. Add the fact that I bled a little and that was a full moon and you have the ingredients of a very powerful fertility What your hearing is the voice of our unborn love, our child and your heir. I’ll be pregnant for half the time four and a half months and then Gaius will bring forth our child with very powerful magic and a birthing wand.”
