"Oh," Merlin exclaimed. "They're making love!"
Arthur glanced up, looking briefly at the screen. "So it seems."
"This is a huge deal, Arthur. The conclusion to the perfect enemy-to-lovers story! The will-they-or-won't-they has lasted four long seasons. Finally all that tension is released!"
"Hmmmm, really?" Arthur muttered.
"Fandom will explode. It's going to be wild!"
"Mmmhmmm."
"Oh my, now look!" Merlin's eyes went wide. He kept his eyes riveted on the screen, but reached out to thump Arthur's arm. "You're missing out on a major cultural watershed moment, Mr. I'm-so-incredibly-above-this."
Arthur put his tablet down and scooted closer, his eyes glinting. "I'd rather be watching you, in all your delightfully eager excitement. Your ears are red."
Despite himself, Merlin's focus wavered. "Oh... yeah?"
Arthur laughed, reeling Merlin in, going for a kiss. "The only sex scene I'm interested in, is the one we'll create ourselves - hopefully right here and now."
