Arthur rolled over in bed, his body stretching into the warm patch of sunlight that was splashed across his bed. As he returned to consciousness, he gently blinked open his eyes, and focused on the figure standing at the foot of his bed.
"Who said you could get out of bed?" he asked with a yawn
A bright blush covered Merlin's cheeks, and he lowered his head to finish doing the buttons on his shirt.
"Some of us do have to work Arthur. Even on the weekends. But…I can't find my shoe."
Arthur's sleepy laugh filled the room, and he moved closer to the edge of the bed, his legs dangling down onto the carpet below him.
"You work in a shoe store Merlin. I think you could find another pair." Arthur replied with a wink
Once the rogue shoe had been found, and put on the proper foot, Merlin walked back to the bed and sat, straddling Arthur's bare hips, his hands around his neck.
"Is that what I have to look forward to now? Your terrible jokes every morning."
"And my kisses." Arthur replied quickly
With that, the two men smiled, and Merlin leaned forward to press his lips against Arthur's. Arthur's lips were plump, and Merlin was actually grateful for the sweetness he was gifted with every time he could steal a kiss. As the kiss deepened, Arthur's mouth opened slightly, just enough for Merlin's tongue to snake inside, dancing inside the depth of Arthur's mouth. When the kiss finally ended the two men pulled apart smiling, and flushed.
"See you tonight then?" Arthur asked, already knowing the answer
"Tonight." Merlin said with a nod
After stealing one last kiss, Merlin stood, grabbed his bag that had been thrown to the floor in a moment of passion, and hurried toward the door for work.
Merlin was the first to arrive at the store. He opened the door, turned off the security, and looked around quickly to make sure nothing looked wrong. He had something to do before his boss arrived. Merlin hurried toward the register, and quickly brought the computer to life. He knew, when Mr. Macintosh arrived he would have no time, so he had to hurry.
Once the computer was ready, Merlin quickly typed in the address of where he wanted to go, and waited.
"Come on. Come on. Hurry up!" he said to himself
Once Facebook had finished loading, he logged in, and moved his mouse to his profile, and finally to the edit status button. Merlin took a deep calming breath, before typing the words he had been hoping to be able to type since the day he first met Arthur.
"In a relationship with Arthur Pendragon." He said as he typed the words.
Merlin pushed the done button before he could think twice about what had just happened. After checking to make sure that he was still alone, he had to scream with happiness, for the fact that something that he had wanted for so long had finally come true.
