Wasted? No, it hasn't been wasted! I was able to try out different pastries and designs for them and everything, and learning and trying those out in and of itself was quite worth it, not to mention fun~

Oh, yes, definitely! And you're... quite right about that. At home I rarely ever get the chance to do something like this. Mother would die if she found out it was my work, or try to convince herself that it was a girl's overzealousness in trying to show her culinary prowess. Or something to that extent.

Definitely, and they all turned out pretty well didn't they? I just know we couldn't eat it all between us. I'm sure everyone who we send some out to will enjoy them.

Mhmm, I know, it must be hard considering she's so resistant about accepting your hobbies. But you know you're welcome here anytime if you just want to get away and do what you enjoy.

Oh, and I talked to my mum! Once we get the kitchen cleaned up she said she would be willing to show you some basic needlepoint, if you're interested. She just noticed you were looking at some of her hand made cushion covers amd thought you might like to have a demonstration.
