Thank you so much! I'm glad you like it. I originally wrote it to introduce a fic that will most likely never get written about a dragon, the return of magic, and the return of the King... so thought I'd pop it here.

I liked how Merlin withdrew from the world because he'd just couldn't take it any more. Good thing he left the gargoyle on watch. :D
