Why I like Jack

NB: I am here addressing Jack as he appears in Doctor Who. I am aware of Torchwood, but (a) I haven't watched it, and therefore cannot speak intelligently about it, and (b) it's outside the scope of this project.

Lovely! Point of interest: are you not counting River as a companion, not counting her as having been born in the 52nd century or what?

Also, can we note that River and Jack share a sexuality?

Will there be a Why I like the 51st century post? Because the 51st century! (And 52nd, probably by accident.)

I bet that River erased Jack's memory.

No, River is not a companion. In much the same way that the Brigadier is not a companion. And that has a lot to do with why I'm more okay with shipping it.

I should talk about the 51st century at some point. Probably won't before the 23rd though.

...but they don't

They do, but River's much more quiet about it, and she's married. She's the one who dated an auton once and liked the swappable heads, after all. (Jack's been married too, though his marriage happened in Torchwood in the past) And it's not supposed to be strange in any way during their century, so like any sexuality, some people are going to be living it up and others will just have it as part of their past, wasn't that fun but I'm busy now.
