Memorial Drive closed at night through Thursday

Memorial Drive will be closed between Magazine Street and the BU Bridge rotary, from 9 pm to 6 am through Thursday June 30th, for construction of the replacement footbridge.

There's a detour via Putnam Avenue or Granite Street, but it would be better to avoid the area entirely. Leave a comment

Won't be much fun for Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, or Micro Center.

Eh, it's not that bad. For TJs and Micro Center, Granite puts you right across the street from their parking lot. And Whole Foods is practically on Putnam, so westbound travel can easily use that road, and eastbound travel would probably use River anyways.

The problem is the traffic jam this is probably causing.

I suppose. But Whole PaycheckFoods and TJs close at 10, so it won't be a huge issue for them.
